Food allergy decisions can be serious. Gulpp is designed as a community reference tool and has important limitations.
Emergencies
If you are experiencing a severe allergic reaction, call emergency services immediately and use emergency medication if prescribed. Do not rely on Gulpp in an emergency.
Not medical advice
Gulpp is not a doctor, allergist, dietitian, emergency service, or medical device.
Information in Gulpp is not medical advice and should not replace advice from a qualified clinician.
What scores mean
Gulpp scores describe the strength of available community allergy evidence for a restaurant. They do not mean a restaurant or dish is safe, allergen-free, or appropriate for you.
Community reports are self-reported, may be wrong, may be incomplete, and may not reflect current ingredients, staff practices, supplier changes, or cross-contact risk.
Restaurant information
Restaurant-published allergen information, staff answers, menus, and third-party restaurant data may be incomplete, outdated, or misunderstood. Always confirm directly with restaurant staff.
Reaction reports
A no-reaction report means one user reported or did not report symptoms after a meal. It does not prove the dish is allergen-free or safe for another person.
Always confirm
Before eating, tell restaurant staff about your allergies, ask about ingredients and cross-contact, and follow your clinician's guidance for your own risk level.
